Feet In Cars (an unintended new series)

Somehow I feel I'll be exploring this more in 2010. Below Kess M taken in Nashville Spring of 2009.and Jen taken in a parking lot outside of Detroit in the winter of 2009.

The Feet of Columbus, Ohio PT. 1

Ok so this is ridiculous! Let's get to what this blog is really about. MY LOVE for FEET and the photos that I take. Here is a selection of works from my fun trips to Columbus. (above is Amanda Rourke and Sister Maggie)










These images are also Amanda and Maggie, in many ways they are my 4 favorite feet in that city (I'm sure it has to do with the size 9.5 and 10).










Below is model and friend Crystal O, I've shot her a couple times now and will of course create more images in the future. Still in the process of kinda figuring her out and how she relates (in my own head and hers) with what I do.






...and of course one can't speak about Columbus without showing and mentioning the feet of Sofie. She is of course one of the coolest (and most known) models in that town and her feet?? PERFECTION of course.









Above Sister Maggie and her friend Lola are doin' it up in a sleazy Knight's INN (I felt kinda guilty having them go barefoot in that disgusting place). Below is Crystal O and Patton Suicide also from the "Knight's Inn" Sessions.

Ahhh 2010

With the release of this cool f-eleven book and the newest issue of Secret Magazine 2010 is looking to be pretty promising for the work. A few goals I have for the year: get the work seen in more venues online, in print, and in galleries / spaces / homes. ALSO I will focus on this blog and try to redo my website www.server-x.org. Exciting things if you're a fan of the foot! More to come this weekend! OH and well Lady Gaga a creative director at Polaroid?? I say HELL YEAH!

Kelly Cadaver Continued....

CJR: Ok so we've shot a few times now this past year how has the experience changed or grown for you from the first shoot to this last one?
KELLY: It's so much more than shooting now. The first shoot helped me relax and become comfortable with someone touching my feet. I would never let anyone before. The shoots that followed were a much needed experience for me. A part of my body that I never thought to photograph has become something that I want to photograph and focus on.

CJR: What are some thoughts you have about my foot obsession? (particularly when it comes to your feet)

KELLY: I am actually very flattered. I never focused on my feet, wore socks with sandals until I was 21, and actually still kind of get freaked out if people look at them. But, you sir, make them feel like no one else ever has. I'm also very intrigued when it comes to your fetish. Shooting has helped me understand and appreciate it.

CJR: We've talked about you getting my signature tattooed on your foot, what meaning does that hold for you?
KELLY: It definitely, to me, signifies my growth as a person. I enjoy our shoots and visits, why wouldn't I want a constant reminder of it?

SECRET MAGAZINE #34

Welcome welcome to my new blog and more importantly to my world of FEET and FOOT photography. I decided to start this thing after securing a position writing a foot column for SECRET magazine. Going forward for every issue that is released I will feature additional photographs of the models included in the printed piece as well as additional insights into this little world of mine.

Secret 34 is not available! In this the first piece I’ve written for them I included images and interviews with Kess M and Kelly Cadaver. I’m including here some color images of both models. ENJOY!
